WebJul 7, 2010 · After anchoring down I turned off the key and the engine kept running. I pulled the lanyard wire off, and the engine kept running. I pulled up the hood and unplugged the TBI electrical which of course shut the motor down. After hooking the TBI electrical back up I was able to start the boat again no problem, but it won't shut off.
