I'm not sure if that is a Kuga only thing, but my theory is it does this to prevent false triggering of the Thatcham alarm system's ultrasonic interior movement detector. The noise lasted for about 4 - 5 minutes and stoped. The car had been sitting in my garage turned off for over 8 hours. This has happened before. Does anyone have any idea what this noise is? Thanks. The best possible description I can think of for this sound is the sound of an owl screeching, only taken down about 4 octaves.
