Web11 ago 1994 · In this work, we describe the synthesis of two new cyanine dye-labeled dUTP analogs, Cy3-dUTP and Cy5-dUTP. They are efficient substrates for DNA polymerases and can be incorporated into DNA probes by standard nick translation, random priming and polymerase chain reactions. WebdUTP, PCR Grade, is designed for amplification reactions where high-quality reagents are required, such as for in vitro diagnostics. Avoid DNA carryover contamination between PCRs that can be a source of false positives. To decontaminate PCR and RT-PCR mixes, dUTP is incorporated in place of dTTP into the PCR product.
