Do a CD to the folder with the problematic file and perform: attrib -O "my problem file.txt" on that file. WebObviously the new windows install knows nothing about these files but now they are all showing a grey X and will not let me open them. All of the solutions I have found talk about unlinking, logging out etc but these files should have nothing to do with the fresh one drive install. I have tried these steps to no avail though.
