WebDec 29, 2024 · On mine, the new u joint was a huge struggle to fit on the old steering box shaft. I had a new box to install, but I was using the old box to mock up the shaft length. With lots of cleaning and a bit if touch up on the old splines, I did get the new u joint to fit on the old box. The upper one fit with less struggle but was still tight. WebRag Joint Eliminator.
