Webb20 okt. 2016 · The genus Platypterygius is among the most problematic, with no robust phylogenetic definition, no diagnostic features and a biozone spanning the Barremian (‘Platypterygius’ sachicarum) to the Late Cenomanian (‘Platypterygius’ campylodon, ‘Platypterygius kiprijanoffi’), i.e., 35 million years (Fischer, 2012; Fischer et al., 2014a).
