All machine work to include the porting and polishing was performed by Al Baker’s XR’s Only. The CDI box was also replaced about 2500 miles ago. WebSep 2, 2011 · 650L motor is a decent motor and can be modified to get some good power out of them, but it is a big, heavy motor, but so is the 650R motor. Either one is quite a bit taller then a 450R motor, so they won't fit in the stock 450R frame.

The first thing I would do is add an exhaust and pumper carb or a XR650R carb if your lacking on funds and see if that will satisfy your needs and go from there, I see you already have an exhaust.
