I'm not surprised but I am pained by this blatant injustice. WebThe Count of Monte Cristo is a fantastic story, and Gankutsuou is a fantastic adaptation. If you know the story, you won't be disappointed. If you don't, you're in for a ride. WATCH THE DUB I haven't watched the dub, but Nakata Jouji voices the Count in the Japanese version and I can't think of anyone in the world I'd rather have.
