WebDescription. This is an original 1959 Fender Tweed Vibrolux 5F11 amp w/a recent Celestion G12 speaker (now hooked up). The tweed covering is slightly worn all over w/1 missing bottom back panel, its very intact & quite pleasing to the eye w/the corners being worn. Its grill cloth is still pretty nice. Its factory label is intact but hard to read. WebAug 12, 2013 · I made a Tremolux cab out of 100 year old pine and put my 1960 Vibrolux tweed chassis in it. I have a 1960 P12Q speaker in there. Running through the same reverb unit, but I think it puts out more reverb with this chassis for some reason. Sounds pretty darn close to the Tremolux recording.
